The city of Morristown has become a magnet for those who seek easy access to a vibrant downtown social scene, a broad array of fine dining options and cultural venues like the Mayo Performing Arts Center. Several townhome communities serve a growing number of people who also search for a simpler lifestyle where there is less to maintain both inside and out, and yard maintenance is someone else's responsibility. What makes the 'Woodside' community so appealing is the notably high quality of maintenance for the entire neighborhood, where a consistent level of care makes both the homes and property shine with pride. Headed into town? It's just a mile away.

This new two bedroom, two-and-one-half bath offering has been beautifully updated and redecorated by the current owner to create a classic decor and environment that is warm and inviting. Crown moldings accent the primary living areas, hardwood oak flooring refines the interior and ample windows create a bright layout.  A stunning kitchen was tastefully recreated and links to both the family room and a sunlit breakfast area. The powder room is located by the entry to an attached one-car garage. In the family room design elements include sliding glass doors to a covered porch and terrace, and a gas fireplace that brings charm and coziness to the space.  The living room is open and dramatic, as a peaked ceiling and broad wall of windows invite visitors to stay and linger after dinner has been served in the adjacent dining room.

Upstairs is a delightful master bedroom that adjoins an exquisitely updated full bath with large shower, an oversized walk-in closet and a generous second bedroom with its own covered balcony.  The loft area offers a variety of uses from an office to separate sitting area serving the bedrooms. Tucked into a closeted area off the loft is the laundry.

In the nicely refinished lower level a guest bedroom/den/office adjoins a full bath with shower. This area can easily expand into sizable surrounding storage rooms if desired.

Morris Township, NJ real estate market

Incorporated in 1740, Morris Township in Morris County is an idyllic community of about 15 square miles containing rolling hills, open space and established neighborhoods. Often referred to as a "donut township" since it surrounds Morristown, it shares a school system and library with Morristown, although both maintain separate municipal and public services.

The township motto: "A community rich in history with a constant striving for a better tomorrow," reflects the feeling of preservationists and the local government, who are devoted to acquiring open space while keeping large-scale development at bay.

Morris Township is one of the most affluent areas in the County. Major corporations including Honeywell and Mennen have their headquarters in the township.

Many residents commute into New York City about 35 miles west, catching the train in Convent Station, Morris Plains or Morristown. The township enjoys a location close to many museums, entertainment venues, restaurants and shops due to its close proximity to Morristown.
